Friday, March 26
10:00 - Landscape Design - Alice Longfellow will cover the principles of design with specific ideas for home landscaping and garden design. Bring a photo of an area you are wanting to work on.
1:00 - Container Gardening Workshop. Fee $25. Bring your own container (14" or less) and we will provide the soil and plants. We can provide a container if you prefer. Workshop will cover growing flowers, vegetables, or perennials in most any type of container.
3:00 - Organic Gardening and Lawn Care - Many homeowners have become more conscious of their impact on the environment but don't know how to make these changes in their gardening practices. Join us for tips and ideas for organic gardening.
Saturday, March 27:
10:00 - Kids Gardening Workshop. Fee $10. We will sow seeds and plant containers of flowers or vegetables. All materials will be provided.
3:00 - Growing Heirloom Vegetables by Don Schnieders, Master Gardener. He will talk about heirloom vegetables as well.
Sunday, March 28:
1:00 - Growing and Using Herbs with Terry Dye, landscape designer with Longfellow's. She will talk about herbs you can grow in your garden or in containers, plus how to use them for cooking and decorating.
2:00 - Container Gardening Workshop. Fee $25. Same as above.
4:00 - Kids Gardening Workshop. Fee $10. Same as above.
